O Capital Group has invested, since the end of last decade, in an ultra-modern industrial slaughterhouse in support of the Plan Maroc Vert strategy that privileges the set-up of value adding schemes and the integration of the red meat industry in Morocco.
It is the first private unit of slaughter, cutting and processing of red meat in Morocco subject to a traceability process that meets European standards and respects health standards set by ONSSA.
Domain of nearly 11,000 hectares located in the Middle Atlas where lives, isolated, a unique breed of the Santa Gertrudis. It is by far the most important breeding in Morocco with a herd consisting of about 5,000 heads, and the only one enabling traceability and labelling.
The Ranch operates both in "extensive" breeding mode, aiming to ensure the perpetuity of the breed, with herds grazing all year round, and "intensive" through its fattening workshop to produce bulls for slaughter.
